How to Refuel

Self-service gas stations are the norm in Guam.

Since we are here, let’s try self-serve! Self-serve is less expensive.

Choose self-service fueling machines.

Park your car where there is a “Self Serve” sign.

“Full Serve” is more expensive because the staff does everything for you.

Select “Unleaded” by its label.

“Unleaded” means regular gasoline. Nozzle colors vary by station, and there is no rule that green means unleaded — check the label.

Tell store staff to refuel.

Go to the nearest staff member or cashier in the store and tell them the number of the machine and “Fill Up”.

Refuel

After opening the car’s fueling port and removing the cap, remove the gun from the fueling machine, raise the lever supporting the gun, and you are ready to go.
Insert the nozzle of the gun into the fueling port and squeeze the grip of the gun to release gasoline.

The pump stops automatically when the tank is full — that is your signal to finish. Do not squeeze the handle again to top off; it can spill fuel and interfere with the vapor-control systems. Return the gun to its original position.

Payment.

1 gallon = 3.8 liters

Due to frequent changes in gasoline prices, we are unable to provide advance notice. Please confirm the price on the spot.

The location of the gas station will be explained at the time of departure.
We will lend you a full tank of gas, so please be sure to return it with a full tank when you return the car.
*If you forget to fill up your tank or do not have a full tank of gas, you will be reimbursed according to the kilometer conversion rate specified by our company based on the actual number of kilometers you have driven. This is more expensive because our staff will go to the gas station to fill up the tank. Please remember to fill up the tank before returning the car.
