Besides Guam’s beautiful beaches and sunsets, the buildings around the island are covered in fun, eye-catching street art.
This time, with our rental car from Guam, we visited a bright red shop called Fizz & Co. in Guam’s Hagåtña area.
It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s an absolute must for anyone who loves taking photos.
As soon as you step through the door, you’re surrounded by all kinds of bright colors — the blue-and-red checkerboard motif blends perfectly with the black-and-white checkered floor, and it instantly brings out your inner child.
In this gorgeous space, even the colorful sugar on the counter doubles as decoration.
The little wall in the corner next to the entrance is packed with all sorts of American-style details, and it’s an extremely popular photo spot.
Even a casual, candid pose turns into a photo full of personality here.
Or just strike a pose together to make a nice memory.
There are always plenty of visitors lining up, waiting their turn to take pictures.
Put on your favorite summer dress and get in the summery mood — the red really stands out, and it’s a personal favorite of mine.
Even the off-duty servicemen sitting inside can’t help but look adorable here, camouflage pattern and all.
Of course, it’s more than Instagrammable — the food here is varied enough to satisfy any craving.
We’d recommend trying the signature hot dog and the super pink strawberry cream smoothie.
Not only are they delicious and refreshing, they’ll put you in a great mood too.
Or raise a smoothie in a toast and enjoy a wonderfully glamorous afternoon tea, Guam-style.
