Today I stopped by ROY’S Restaurant in the main tower of Hilton Guam Resort & Spa for lunch. I’d already written about the dinner course, so I was curious to try the lunch menu.

Past the entrance is a calm, sunlit dining room that feels bright and airy during the day.
Lunch is $38 plus 10%, with a surcharge on some dishes. It’s a three-course meal: you choose an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert.

As soon as I ordered, warm bread with tapenade arrived. It has a nice texture and is easy to eat, and refills are available on request.

For the appetizer, I ordered fried Brussels sprouts. I expected “fried” to mean deep-fried, but they turned out to be roasted. They taste light and healthy, letting the natural flavor of the vegetables come through.

For the main course, there’s the Hibachi Salmon: grilled Norwegian salmon served with mixed grain rice, assorted vegetables, and wasabi butter sauce.

Another main course option is ROY’S signature Sichuan-style half rack of baby back ribs.

Here’s another main course, the chef’s steak of the day. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and it pairs well with the mixed grain rice underneath. This might be the best pick of the bunch!

Dessert was seasonal fruit: fresh, delicious, and beautifully plated.

It was a satisfying lunch with a touch of luxury. With so many options on the menu, I’ll definitely be back to try something else!
