The customer will be responsible for all damages in excess of the amount covered by the following insurance and compensation programs, accidents not covered by the insurance terms and conditions, accidents and use in violation of the rental agreement, damages due to theft, and damages in the event that proof of accident cannot be obtained from the police.
Insurance included in the rental price
The following automobile liability (LP) insurance is included in the rental price of the rental car

Insurance and coverage not included in the rental price
When renting a car in Guam, we strongly recommend that you purchase insurance coverage.
Because of the different traffic rules in Guam, it is recommended to have insurance coverage in case of emergencies.
Collision Damage Waiver(CDW)
If the rental car is damaged in an accident, the repair costs (limited to $50,000) will come from a deductible of up to $1,000.

Cases where CDW is not applicable
- Reckless driving, driving on dangerous roads, driving while using cell phones or other devices.
- Collision with objects while driving, new damage caused by leaving the rental car unattended.
- If the vehicle is totaled due to negligence and damage is incurred.

- Failure to Report Accidents
- Failure to obtain a license plate number for the vehicle involved in the collision, and failure to inspect the vehicle.
- If the other party involved in the accident does not have a valid driver’s license.
- Under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs
Zero Deductible Waiver(ZDW)
Payment of the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) deductible ($1,000) is exempted. The CDW is additional compensation.

Non Operation Charge Waiver (NOC)
This exempts drivers from being billed for business losses incurred by an accident (if rentable: $250, if not rentable: $400).

About Non Operation Charge
If an accident should occur while using the rental car and the vehicle needs to be repaired, the following non-operation charge will be charged as part of the operating compensation, regardless of the extent of damage or the length of time required for repairs.

Accident Handling Legal Fees
In the event of an accident, a legal fee of $150 will be charged regardless of whether the accident is the customer’s fault or not.
In the event of an accident or damage, this fee is required to issue a police report, certificates to the various agencies involved (insurance companies, repair companies), and processing procedures.
Notes on Insurance Guarantee Programs

Cases in which the insurance compensation system is not applicable
*Not applicable regardless of which party is responsible for the cause.
- Dangerous driving, driving under the influence of alcohol, use of cell phones or other devices.
- Damage to window glass.
- Theft of motor vehicles, malicious vandalism, stolen property.
- Accidents or damage caused by drivers not registered in the contract.
- Traffic fines and associated service charges ($100).
- Regardless of the size of the vehicle damage, an accident processing fee ($150) will be charged for any new scratches or damage upon return.
- Towing and towing costs in the event of an accident.
- If you flee the scene of the accident at the time of the accident.
- Damage to, or loss of, tires, wheels, wheel covers, keys, and associated service charges.
- Accidents or damages that were not reported to the police within 24 hours (no accident number).
- Damage to vehicles caused by typhoons and other natural disasters.
