Hafa adai!
The
Christmas season has finally arrived. In Guam, Christmas decorations and
illuminations can be seen everywhere. Among them, I would like to introduce the
Christmas illumination event at Skinner Plaza in Hagåtña. We will bring you the
lighting ceremony along with the beautiful light displays.

On Sunday, December 1st, at 6:00 PM,
Skinner Plaza was already filled with many families and young people. At around
6:15 PM, after a greeting by the Governor of Guam, the plaza was filled with
beautiful Christmas lights and the cheers of visitors.

Snow-like flakes fell from the sky and were
blown by the wind, and the children were having a great time.

On the Guam Museum side, there was a very
festive and Christmas-like golden tree shining brightly.

On the Chamorro Village side, there were
many light tunnels and photo-op objects lined up.

However, the main attraction was, of
course, Santa Claus. Families with small children were waiting in long lines to
take pictures with Santa.
The annual Skinner Plaza Christmas
illumination event will continue until the New Year, so be sure to visit!
